Unusual Queen Anne white metal box engraved with mathematical equations relating to watch making and time keeping, probably engraved by the owner 'John Smith Esq ano domini 1710'. 7x5cm approx. 61.8g approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Hinge lid opens and closes well for age. Impressed marks 'H' to interior. Dinks and dents, but text/numbers are clear overall.
Purchased by Vendor's deceased Grandfather many years ago, probably at auction. The box is NOT magnetic, sure to be silver but not hallmarked.
